mercy
If I could be any part of you, I'd be your tears
Conceived in your heart
Born in your eyes
Live on your cheeks
And die on your lips

Passing of the wind

The hushed silence was forbidding, like a war zone I had known better not to cross. But her eyes held a certain mystery, a subtle hint of grief danced around her. I reached out, but all I felt was air.

I take back my word.
Maybe it hadn't been that fulfilling after all.
All I got back was a sick feeling stuck in my throat, like a dead weight pressed against my chest.
How people change, ha! As swiftly as the wind.

This time, rather than feeling utterly jealous and upset with her.
I took it rather lightly, as though that was the only right thing to do.
And yes, I think we're all used to that cycle of events, it does get a little boring.
That silence, was timely.
