If I could be any part of you, I'd be your tears
Conceived in your heart
Born in your eyes
Live on your cheeks

Profound satisfaction of the almost non-existant.

Lee Pei Pei still has the slip of paper you gave her,
safely snuggled amongst her most prized possessions in her pencilcase.

There were times I didn't believe a word on it.
And times I clung so close to those very handwritten words for some profound comfort.
I wanted so badly to tear it up.
Now all I want to do is to make sure I keep it safe.

Because that is my most idealised image of you.
